1. Summary
Pick Verionex does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or any third-party cookies. It does not set HTTP cookies at all. It uses your browser's local storage for six small values, all named with the prefix pvx-. Four are necessary for the Site to work; two are optional and only written if you accept.
2. What local storage is
Local storage is a small store inside your browser that a website can use to remember values between visits. Like cookies, it is covered by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), so we ask before writing anything that is not strictly necessary.
3. Every key we use
| Key | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
pvx-age | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so the age question does not return on every page. Value: 18. | Necessary | Until you clear site data |
pvx-consent | Remembers whether you chose Accept all or Reject optional, so the cookie bar stays closed. Value: accept or reject. | Necessary | Until you clear site data or choose again |
pvx-credits | Stores your virtual credit balance, shared by all four games. Virtual credits have no cash value. | Necessary | Until you clear site data |
pvx-pause | Stores the end time of a pause you set on the Responsible Play page. Written only if you set a pause. | Necessary (when you set a pause) | Until the pause ends, you remove it, or you clear site data |
pvx-sound | Remembers whether game sound is on or off. Written only after Accept all. | Optional | Until you reject optional storage or clear site data |
pvx-recent | Remembers the last twelve roulette numbers. Written only after Accept all. | Optional | Until you reject optional storage or clear site data |
No other keys are used. There are no keys for a name, email, password, payment card or purchase, because the Site does not collect them.
4. Necessary storage
pvx-age, pvx-consent, pvx-credits and, when you set one, pvx-pause are strictly necessary. Without them the age question would return on every page, the cookie bar would reappear, the games could not keep your balance and a pause could not be honoured. Rejecting optional storage does not remove them.
5. Optional storage
pvx-sound and pvx-recent are optional. They are written only after you choose Accept all. Choosing Reject optional removes them if present. Sound still works for the current visit without being remembered.
6. Your choice
The cookie bar appears after the age question until you choose. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page.
7. How to clear storage
To remove every key, clear site data for pickverionex.com in your browser settings. Clearing cookies alone may leave local storage in place, so choose the option for site data or all site storage. After clearing, the age question and the cookie bar return and the balance starts again at 10,000 virtual credits.
8. No advertising or tracking
The Site loads no advertising, analytics, social media or tracking scripts, and nothing from other domains. Every font, image and script is served from pickverionex.com.
9. Changes and contact
If we ever add or remove a key, we will update this page and the date at the top first. Questions: [email protected]. See also the Privacy Policy.
