Plain-language summary
- No accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking across other sites.
- The Site keeps a few small values in your own browser (local storage) so the age question, your storage choice, the virtual credit balance and any pause work.
- We never see your balance. It stays on your device and has no cash value.
- We only receive personal data if you email us, and we use it only to reply.
- You have full rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and you can complain to the ICO.
1. Who we are
Pick Verionex is the website at pickverionex.com. For privacy questions and requests, email [email protected]. That address is the privacy contact for the Site.
This policy does not name a company, a street address, a company number or a licence, and there is no member database.
2. The law we follow
This policy is written for people in the United Kingdom under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Those are the rules this policy follows.
3. What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account. The Site has no forms that collect your name, email address, phone number or payment details, and no payment processor.
The Site stores six small values in your browser's local storage: pvx-age, pvx-consent, pvx-credits, pvx-pause, and, only if you accept optional storage, pvx-sound and pvx-recent. They stay on your device and are not sent to us. The Cookie Policy describes each one.
If you email support@, privacy@ or [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.
4. Browser storage only
Everything the Site remembers is kept in your browser. There is no server-side profile, no copy of your balance and no log of your rounds. The web host may keep ordinary connection logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and operation; we do not add analytics or advertising tools to them.
5. How we use information
- to remember that you confirmed you are 18 or older;
- to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional storage;
- to keep the virtual credit balance and the free refill working;
- to honour a pause you set;
- to remember sound and recent roulette numbers, only if you chose to accept optional storage;
- to reply to emails you send us.
We do not send marketing, build profiles or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Lawful bases
Consent for optional storage (pvx-sound, pvx-recent), which you can give or withdraw with the cookie bar at any time.
Strictly necessary storage for pvx-age, pvx-consent, pvx-credits and pvx-pause, which are needed to provide the Site you asked for. Our legitimate interest is running a free social casino that keeps no accounts.
Legitimate interests for replying to and keeping a short record of emails you send.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We do not pass your storage values to anyone, because they never leave your device. We may disclose an email you sent if the law requires it.
8. Retention
Local storage values stay on your device until you clear site data for pickverionex.com or reject optional storage. Emails are kept only as long as needed to answer and to keep a record of a complaint, then deleted.
9. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is used;
- access your personal data;
- have inaccurate data rectified;
- have data erased;
- restrict processing;
- data portability;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing;
- not be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Because the storage values are on your device, you can view, change or delete them yourself in your browser's site-data settings. For anything else, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month. Where a request is complex or one of several, we may extend this by up to two further months and will tell you why within the first month.
10. Complaints to the ICO
Please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator:
- Website: https://ico.org.uk/
- Helpline: 0303 123 1113
11. Security
Pages are served over HTTPS. Values in local storage are protected by your browser and device, so use a device you trust. Please do not email us identity documents or payment details; we never need them.
12. Children
The Site is only for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has emailed us, write to [email protected] and we will delete the message.
13. Changes and contact
We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. Privacy questions go to [email protected].
