1. Scope: social casino entertainment only
These Terms of Use apply to pickverionex.com (the "Site"). If you confirm that you are 18 or older and keep using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please leave the Site.
Pick Verionex is a social casino you play in the browser. The games are Vertex Reels Slot, Lumen Cascade Slot, Obsidian Roulette and Chrome Blackjack. They are casino-style games for entertainment only, played with virtual credits. There is no account, no sign-up and no shop.
These terms cover the pages, the games, the age question, the storage choice and the virtual credit balance on your browser. They do not cover independent websites we link to, such as GambleAware, GamCare and GamStop, which set their own terms.
Pick Verionex is the name of this website. These terms do not name a company, a street address, a company number or a licence. Contact is by email only, as set out in section 15.
2. No real money, no prizes
By using the Site you acknowledge that:
- there is no real-money wagering: you cannot place a bet or wager with money, and the Site does not accept one;
- you cannot win real money, prizes of monetary value, cash or cash equivalents, gift cards, vouchers, cryptocurrency, merchandise or rewards;
- virtual credits are not redeemable credits: they cannot be redeemed, exchanged or converted into anything of value;
- there is no cash-out and no withdrawal of any kind;
- there are no tradeable items: you cannot sell, trade, gift, transfer or move virtual credits or anything shown in a game;
- the Site does not run sweepstakes, competitions, raffles, lotteries, draws or prize promotions.
A higher balance is only a change to a number in your browser. It is not a prize, a payout or a balance you can claim. A lower balance is not a debt and not a loss of money.
3. Virtual credits
Virtual credits are entertainment credits. They have no cash value. They are not money, not e-money, not stored value, not a security, not a financial product and not property. They give you no ownership interest in the Site or anything else.
Each browser starts with 10,000 virtual credits, shared across all four games. If the balance falls below 1,000, a free refill restores it to 10,000. Another browser, or this browser after you clear site data, has its own balance.
We may change the starter amount, the refill, the games or how the balance moves, or remove a game. A change to the balance does not create a claim for money, because virtual credits are not money.
4. No purchase, nothing sold
No purchase is required, and no purchase is possible. The Site has no shop, no credit packs, no subscriptions, no checkout, no deposit, no payment page and no payment processor. Nothing is sold on the Site.
You cannot pay to raise your balance, to skip the age question or to change a result. If anyone asks you to pay Pick Verionex for virtual credits, that request does not come from us.
5. Eligibility: 18+ in the United Kingdom
You must be 18 or older to use the Site. The Site is directed at adults in the United Kingdom. By confirming your age you state that you are 18 or older.
If you are under 18, you must not use the games. A visitor who answers that they are under 18 stays on the age question and is not taken into the games. We do not ask for a name, an identity document or an account, and we do not run identity checks, so you are responsible for the answer you give.
6. Conduct and no account
There is no account. Whoever uses the browser is responsible for the device and for the virtual credit balance stored on it.
You must not:
- use a script, bot or other automated tool to play, to change the balance or to avoid the age question;
- misrepresent your age;
- probe, interfere with, overload or try to break the Site;
- copy the games, artwork or text into a commercial product;
- present the Site as a place where money or anything of monetary value can be won or obtained;
- offer to sell, buy or trade virtual credits or anything shown in a game.
We may change or remove games, or stop serving the Site, where these terms are broken or where needed to keep the Site entertainment only.
7. Who the Site is for
The Site is for adults aged 18 and over in the United Kingdom. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and it is not designed for children, schools or family play.
We do not check where your device is. Directing the Site at the United Kingdom is a choice about who the pages are written for. If you use the Site from elsewhere, these terms still apply, and you are responsible for deciding whether a free entertainment site is something you are allowed to use where you are.
8. Intellectual property
The name Pick Verionex, the emblem, the artwork, the text and the code on pickverionex.com are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, non-commercial, revocable permission to use the Site for entertainment while you follow these terms.
The GambleAware, GamCare and GamStop marks in the footer belong to those organisations. We show them so you can reach independent support. Showing them does not mean those organisations run, endorse or are connected with the Site.
9. Liability
The Site is provided free, as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Results are produced for entertainment on your browser and say nothing about any activity outside the Site.
To the extent the law of England and Wales allows, Pick Verionex is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Site, including the loss of a virtual credit balance or other data stored on your device. A change in virtual credits is not a financial loss, because virtual credits have no cash value.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date at the top. If you keep using the Site after an update, you accept the updated terms. If you do not, stop using the Site and clear site data for pickverionex.com if you want your local balance removed.
11. Governing law: England and Wales
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the law where you live.
12. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please email [email protected] first. Describe what happened and the page you were on. We aim to reply within two business days, telling you what happens next.
If the matter is not resolved by that correspondence, the courts of England and Wales can hear it. Where a claim qualifies, it may be brought on the small claims track. There is no fee for raising a complaint with us, and we do not ask for a postal address.
13. Severability
If a court finds that any part of these terms cannot be enforced, that part is removed or read down to the minimum extent needed, and the rest of these terms stay in effect. A finding about one part does not change the entertainment-only, no-real-money character of the Site.
14. Entire agreement
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and Pick Verionex about the Site. Headings are labels only. Nothing shown on a game screen or in the balance changes this agreement.
